My name is Zikrullah Bölükkaya, but I usually go by Zeck. I'm a research student at the University of Oulu, and I've been taking pictures for about six years, professionally for the past fours. My photography journey began quite by accident, as I randomly picked up a camera or phone one day. But this unplanned encounter sparked a change in my way of seeing things. It has opened my eyes to the beauty all around us, encouraging me to pay closer attention to everyday moments. This newfound appreciation led me to capture ordinary objects and streetscapes, turning them into powerful ways to express my feelings.
Now, whether I'm feeling happy, sad, or reflective, I grab my camera and head out into nature, seeking inspiration and solace. A single perfect shot has the power to brighten my day, reminding me of the simple joys in life.
